Message from the Board Chairman and Founder of the Hospital
Sunday, April 15, 2001, marked the launch of one of the largest private sector investments in Iran’s medical history. On this day, the corner stone of Shafa Hospital was laid after the purchase of 6,335 square meters of land.
After purchasing the land, the first steps for acquiring the phase one license of Shafa Hospital as a private clinic were taken, and construction began rapidly. Only two years after purchasing this land, the Shafa Specialty Clinic was inaugurated.
Since its inauguration, this clinic has provided high-quality and cost-effective services and managed to become a trusted health center. However, this wasn’t Shafa’s mission and destiny. Since the clinic mostly provided outpatient treatments and local illnesses, in stage two, Shafa’s officials contemplated establishing a hospital.
Soon, the hospital construction was planned, the licenses were acquired, the building was constructed according to medical center standards, and the necessary equipment were purchased and the human resources were employed from experts and graduates of medical sciences to prepare the hospital for operation.
Shafa Hospital became ready to serve people at a higher level and with more advanced facilities and equipment. Finally, on November 29, 2001, Shafa Hospital jointed the Iranian healthcare system with 8800 square meters of built-up area and over 700 administrative and medical staff to provide the highest quality and latest medical services to the public.
Since then, Shafa Hospital is renowned for providing high-quality services. However, Shafa Hospital's saga did not end here. The next step in 2015 was the third phase of Shafa Hospital’s development, which is underway rapidly.

Our most important priority at Shafa Super-Specialty Hospital is the satisfaction of patients and supporting companions hurt by having a patient and worried about their loved one’s treatment. We try to provide an environment where all staff provide the desirable healthcare and facilities to patients and companions with empathy and optimum satisfaction. This is only feasible by providing the necessary equipment and paying attention to needs. Outfitting all wards with advanced equipment and improving the qualitative and scientific level of healthcare staff can ensure the satisfaction of visitors. Quickly and carefully responding to the needs of visitors is one of our most important goals at the Shafa Super-Specialty Hospital’s Financial Department. With its studious and compassionate staff, this department handles all financial matters quickly and according to the patients’ and visitors’ financial abilities. Our goals also include handling previous financial files to provide conditions where each patient can pay medical costs according to their conditions. Our communications with management cover subjects like financial reports, annual and seasonal budgets, timely payment of staff salaries, and quick and accurate audit of stakeholder requests. With our round-the-clock efforts, we hope to bring security and calm to visitors and patients.
